Delivering quality joint replacement care is a team process. I have assembled a team of people whose purpose is to help me serve your joint replacement needs. I remain the captain of the ship, but I rely heavily on my crew. You will too, so I’d like you to meet them.
Dr. John T. Dearborn
Dr. Dearborn started practice in 1997 after completing his undergraduate degrees at Stanford in 1987, medical school at UCSF in 1991, Orthopaedic Residency at UCSF in 1996, and a one-year Fellowship in Total Joint
Replacement at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. To review Dr. Dearborn's Curriculum Vitae in detail, click here.
Dr. Alexander P. Sah
Dr. Sah has been a welcome addition to the practice since 2008, after completing his Fellowship in minimally invasive and revision hip and knee replacement at Rush Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Sah was born in Fremont at Washington Hospital, and is the son of a head and neck surgeon who practiced for over three decades at Washington Hospital. Dr. Sah graduated from Haverford College in Pennsylvania and then completed medical school at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in 2002. He then completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women's Hospital in the Harvard Orthopaedic Program in Boston. Kelly Haws, PA-C
Kelly joined us in 2008 after relocating from the Sacramento area. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Davis and her Physicians Assistant Certificate from Western University of Health Sciences in 2001. She can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. To review Kelly's Curriculum Vitae in detail, click here.
In addition to assisting Dr. Sah and Dr. Dearborn in surgery, Keith, Brooke and Kelly handle the majority of the checklist at the preoperative visit, collect outcomes data, and see patients for some of their follow-up visits. Their schedules are kept light intentionally to accommodate patients who need to be seen urgently prior to their scheduled visit. All three are in close communication with me at all times regarding all care issues, and are well qualified to handle
the majority of medical issues that may come up at any point during your care with us.
I have assembled a kind, friendly and efficient group of people who are in the office to help meet your needs. If you would like to meet them, click here.
